Budget Electronics Repair is a family owned business that has been providing quality service at the same location since 1968. The owner, Jack Lockard, has been performing electronic repairs and service since 1977.

Here are some of the most commonly asked questions that we get from customers, and the answers! If you have a specific question, contact us.

    • Some items are worth repairing while others are not! Once our technicians have a chance to look at the item, we can always determine if it is worth fixing. After we troubleshoot the item, we’ll provide a quote on the cost of repairs.
    • Budget Electronics Repair collects a diagnostic service fee when the unit is left to be checked out. The diagnostic service fee is credited towards the repair. The diagnostic fee is non refundable if you decide not to have the work done.
    • Of course you can! But remember that if the item you are repairing is a high-quality piece of electronic equipment, then in all likelihood, you’ve had it in use for years. If you pay a few extra dollars for a new unit rather than having one fixed, you’ll likely end up with a unit of far less quality.
    • At Budget Electronics Repair, we fix more than 90% of all items, where we find it cost effective for the customer to do so.
    • Most items brought in for repair are fixed in a timely manner. That will be depending on parts that may have to be ordered. Older items and unusual items may take extra time.
    • Yes! All items have a 90-day repair warranty on parts and labor.
