Our customers always have questions about repairing their electronic items. One of our jobs is to answer those questions and make sure you understand what needs to be done to complete the repair.
Here are some of the most commonly asked questions that we get from customers, and the answers! If you have a specific question, just write us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or 505-293-2525.
"Is my item worth repairing?"
- Some items are worth repairing while others are not! Once our technicians have a chance to look at the item, we can always determine if it is worth fixing. After we troubleshoot the item, we'll provide a quote on the cost of repairs.
- Budget-TV collects a diagnostic service fee when the unit is left to be checked out. The diagnostic service fee is credited towards the repair. The diagnostic fee is non refundable if you decide not to have the work done.
"There is no picture on my TV! Is the picture screen bad?"
- No picture on the screen only shows that there is a problem inside the TV set.
"That estimate is close to what I can pay for a new unit! I can buy a new unit for a few more dollars"
- Of course you can! But remember that if the item you are repairing is a high-quality piece of electronic equipment, then in all likelihood, you've had it in use for years. If you pay a few extra dollars for a new unit rather than having one fixed, you'll likely end up with a unit of far less quality.
"How likely is it that my unit can be repaired?"
- We fix more than 90% of all items, where we find it cost effective for the customer to do so, at Budget TV Repair!
"How long will it take to repair my item?"
- Most items brought in for repair are fixed within five business days. Depending on parts may have to be ordered. Older items and unusual items may take a few extra days if there is a wait on specific replacement parts.
"Does Budget TV Repair guarantee their repairs?"
- Yes! All items have a 90-day repair warranty on parts and labor. For more information, click here.
